Bluejays Today Omaha World-Herald

Former Creighton star Anthony Tolliver will join the Charlotte Bobcats for the next NBA season after one season with the Atlanta Hawks.

According to a Charlotte.com report, Tolliver has agreed to a one-year, veteran-minimum contract.

Charlotte will be Tolliver’s sixth NBA squad, following stints with San Antonio, Portland, Golden State, Minnesota and Atlanta. He’s averaged 6.1 points and 4 rebounds per game during 243 career NBA games.

There is a small Creighton connection in Charlotte as one of the assistant coaches is Stephen Silas, the son of former Creighton great (and former Charlotte head coach) Paul Silas.
