Men’s soccer: Mavs picked fourth in Summit

Summit League coaches selected the University of Nebraska at Omaha men’s soccer team to finish fourth in the conference’s preseason poll, the league announced Tuesday.

The Mavericks (5-10-1 overall, 3-3-1 Summit) finished tied for fourth last season, and are still ineligible for conference and NCAA tournaments as part of the school’s transition to Division I.

First-year Summit member Denver was selected as the preseason favorite with 35 points and five first-place votes. The complete poll:
