Women’s basketball: Huskers awarded 10 games on national television
Big Red Today Omaha World-Herald

At least nine of the Nebraska women’s basketball team’s 16 Big Ten matchups will be televised nationally, the conference announced Tuesday.

The Huskers will play at least seven regular-season Big Ten games on BTN, while two more conference matchups will be carried by ESPN2. The Nebraska-Utah game on Nov. 15 will be available on the Pac-12 Network.

“Obviously, we are excited the Big Ten Network is featuring us prominently on the schedule this season,” Nebraska coach Connie Yori said in a press release. “It is great for our fans who can follow us on the road by watching us on TV and listening to us on the Husker Sports Network. It is also great to have nationally televised games to help us show off our new arena with great crowds on hand.”

The 2014 Big Ten Tournament (March 6-9 in Indianapolis) will be carried on BTN through the semifinals, with ESPN carrying the championship game.
