Men’s basketball: Creighton to host open house, practice at CenturyLink Center

The Bluejays men’s basketball team will hold an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at CenturyLink Center Omaha as part of its “New Conference, New Look” brand unveiling.

Creighton Athletic Director Bruce Rasmussen and University President Rev. Timothy R. Lannon, S.J., will open the event with a 5:30 p.m. address, followed by a video presentation and the unveiling of a new center-court logo. The event will also give fans a look at the arena’s new scoreboard and video boards. Coach Greg McDermott will then lead his team through drills for approximately one hour to wrap up the event.

Complimentary parking will be available in Lot B (west of the arena) starting at 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:45 p.m. for the free event, which is open to the public.
