When Top 10 No. 2 Westside (7-0) has the ball: The emergence of senior quarterback Christian Hagan as a passing threat has boosted the Warriors. He’s thrown for more than 1,000 yards and is a 68 percent passer. Lane Yates averages 87 yards rushing. Millard North last week gave up 43 points in regulation to Bellevue West.

When No. 6 Millard North (3-4) has the ball: What else will the Mustangs do besides run? Senior quarterback Clay Fisher is coming off a career-best game and topped the 1,000-yard mark. Grant DeVries needs to find running room, too, to keep Westside’s improved defense from loading up on Fisher.

Stu’s pick: After four weeks against teams with sub-.500 records, the Warriors get a timely test. It’s tempting to pick an upset, for Millard North has been in the game in each of its losses with 3 minutes left, but the Mustangs will have to show more on defense to get it done.
