Women’s basketball: UNO’s Lange adds Rogan, Turek to staff
Mavericks Today Omaha World-Herald

Omaha women’s basketball interim head coach Brittany Lange has announced the addition of Rodney Rogan to the staff as an assistant coach.

Rogan, who was an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at Division III Millsaps College, replaces Jesyka Burks-Wiley, who has taken an assistant coach position at Massachusetts-Lowell.

In addition, Elisha Turek, formerly the director of operations, has been promoted to an assistant role this season. Rogan and Turek join Lee Aduddell as the Mavs’ three assistants for the 2013-14 season.

“We are very excited for coach Rogan to be joining our staff,” Lange said. “I have seen firsthand his tremendous enthusiasm, work ethic and true passion to develop players and teams. He brings great knowledge and a very detailed perspective on how to mold players, specifically our front court.

“Rodney is used to wearing many different hats on the coaching side, which has made him an extremely well-rounded coach. We look forward to his great contributions to our program.”
