Griffin Thomas, Lincoln Southwest: Had a school-record seven steals and his 29 points against Grand Island were one short of the Silver Hawks record.
James Dumes, Omaha South: Had a career-high 32 points against Omaha North.
Jace Schwarz, Fort Calhoun: Had 28 points and nine rebounds in a loss to Platteview, then scored 30 points in a win over Syracuse.
Brevin Sloup and Ben Klenke, Seward: Sloup had 21 points and six assists in a win over Hastings. Klenke had 22 points in a loss to Wahoo.
Jake Scheef, Wahoo: Had 30 points in the Warriors’ win over Seward.
Jake Hansen and Justin Anderson, West Point-Beemer: Hansen had 17 points and a school-record 11 steals in a 67-59 win over Arlington. Anderson had 33 points and 18 rebounds in a 63-49 win over Omaha Roncalli.
Collin Heath, Weeping Water: Had 37 points in a season-opening win over Malcolm.
Nathan Lemburg, Centura: Had 33 points in a loss to Central City. His 3-pointer against Wood River won the Centurions’ season opener.
Youhanna Ghaifan, Grand Island Central Catholic: Had 29 points and 15 rebounds in a win over Kearney Catholic.
Paxton Ehler, Sidney: His career-high 37 points came in a win over Alliance.
Darrek McNelis, Grand Island Northwest: A career-high 39 points helped the Vikings to a 70-54 win over Central City.
Alex Banker, Omaha Skutt: Had 18 points and a school-record 21 rebounds in the Western Conference Invitational final against Torrington (Wyo.).
Ashlea Kerr, Chadron: Became the school’s third girl to score 1,000 points.
Kinzey Enoch, Overton: Scored a state weekend-high 42 points in a 56-45 win over Loomis.
Jessica Shepard, Fremont: Scored 31 points in a win over Columbus.
Sydney Feller, Platteview: Scored 16 points against Fort Calhoun.
