BOYS BASKETBALL
Chayse Wemhoff, Humphrey St. Francis: Had a career-high 40 points, on 17 of 19 shooting, and 11 rebounds in an 89-46 victory at Grand Island Heartland Lutheran on Friday night.
Alex Sheehy and Brooks Asher, Hastings St. Cecilia: In a 52-43 win over Doniphan-Trumbull, Sheehy had 16 points and Asher 23. Asher had 18 points in a win over Blue Hill.
Nate Fisher, Yutan: Had 25 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in a 62-59 win over Freeman.
Rylee Reinertson, Gibbon: The Oklahoma golf recruit had 28 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists against St. Paul and 37 points and seven rebounds against Loup City.
Connor Heier, Twin River: After averaging 21.3 points in his first three games, he went 10 of 10 at the line to score 28 points in a win over preseason Class C-1 No. 1 Boone Central/Newman Grove.
Ben Klenke, Seward: Had 24 points against Grand Island Northwest.
Jason Towery, Lincoln High: The 6-foot-4 junior had 28 points and 16 rebounds in a win over Kearney.
Lane Rohrich, Pierce: His career-high 40 points led a 75-67 win over O’Neill.
Cole Klingsporn, High Plains: Had 11 points and 10 assists in a 75-38 win over Nebraska Christian.
Nick Sjuts, Bancroft-Rosalie: Had 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Kate Liveringhouse, Bellevue West: The South Dakota recruit had 22 points against Omaha North.
Hannah Lingo, Omaha Duchesne: Scored 19 points against Blair.
Jill Brichacek, Schuyler: Had 23 points and 16 rebounds in a win over Boys Town.
Samantha Dirkschneider, North Bend: Averaged 21.5 points in wins over Schuyler and David City.
Kenzie Kulm, Platteview: Scored 20 points against Omaha Mercy.
Stacy Adams, Lincoln College View: Had 26 points in a win over Lewiston.
Jessica Shepard, Fremont: Scored 29 points in a victory over Lincoln North Star.
Gabby Grasso, Millard North: She had 18 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Omaha Burke.
Marisa Lowe, Millard West: She scored 19 points in a win over Omaha South.
McKenna Dodd, Lincoln Southwest: She had 24 points in a double-overtime win over Norfolk.
Jaycee Bradley, Norfolk: Averaged 32 points against Lincoln Southwest and Omaha Burke.
Megan Kucks, Elkhorn South: Had 20 points, five steals and four assists in a win over Omaha Skutt.
Brooke Kissinger, Minden: Scored 28 of her 33 points in the first half of a win over Aurora.
Brandan Tighe, Homer: Had 26 points in a 70-59 win over Wynot.
Kaylee Jensen, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family: Had 29 points and 16 rebounds in a 64-29 win over Bancroft-Rosalie.
FOOTBALL
Michael Emodi, Omaha Creighton Prep: Had six fumble recoveries this season, which led Class A.
