Scouting UNO: After opening Summit League play with three straight home games, the Mavericks hit the road in a three-way tie for fourth in the league at 1-2. … The meeting with Denver is the fourth ever between the schools, the first since both moved to Division I and the first since UNO’s 71-51 win in Omaha early in the 1995-96 season. The Mavs lead the all-time series 2-1. … The Mavs lead the Summit in field-goal percentage defense (.359), 3-point percentage defense (.268) and blocked shots (5.0 per game). Nationally they rank 36th, 20th, and 29th in those categories. … Taijhe Kelly, third in the Summit in rebounding (7.2 per game), leads the league and is tied for sixth nationally with an average of 3.4 blocked shots. … Ericka House, third in the Summit in scoring (17.9), leads the league and ranks 13th nationally with an average of 3.1 made 3s per game.
