Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles offered a scholarship Saturday morning to 6-foot-1, 170-pound point guard Trey Dickerson from Williston (N.D.) State.

Dickerson told The World-Herald his early preference list is Nebraska, Iowa, UNLV and Boise State.

The Queens, N.Y., native averages 20.2 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 1.6 steals.

Dickerson originally signed for this season at Murray State over Arkansas and Rutgers, but left school and enrolled in junior college at Williston. He would have three years of eligibility.

Nebraska has one scholarship open for next season, and could offer a second if there is any attrition.
