Recruiting: Huskers pick up 4th 2015 commit, OT Christian Gaylord

Nebraska’s 2015 recruiting class stayed on a roll Monday when Junior Day visitor and Baldwin City (Kan.) offensive tackle Christian Gaylord committed to the Huskers. The 6-foot-6, 270-pounder is a four-star prospect according to Scout and a three-star prospect according to 247 Sports, ESPN and Rivals.

The news was first reported by Scout.

“It’s a childhood dream come true,” Gaylord told Scout.com. “My brother and I would wait around when were little for the Nebraska game to start. I remember telling my brother before games that I was going to play there someday.”

Gaylord had offers from both Kansas schools, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Iowa State, among others . Baldwin City is just 16 miles south of Lawrence.
