The University of Nebraska at Omaha baseball team was picked Thursday to repeat as Summit League champion.
The Mavericks, who return two first-team and two second-team All-Summit performers from a season ago, received three first-place votes from league coaches.
South Dakota State came in second with and one first-place vote while North Dakota State was picked third.
UNO’s Alex Mortensen and Tyler Splichal were All-Summit first team last season, while Brett Bass and Clayton Taylor were second team.
The Mavs open the season with a pair of games Feb. 14 in Knoxville, Tenn., against Purdue and Tennessee.
