Four Huskers on official NFL Combine list

No extra Huskers were added to the NFL Combine list released early Tuesday. Jared Crick, Alfonzo Dennard, Lavonte David and Marcel Jones are still the four to go. No Yoshi Hardrick, who I thought might have a late chance, or Brandon Kinnie.

Thursday’s practice report

Coach Bo Pelini met with reporters Thursday, and he confirmed that Nebraska will have a new starter at cornerback and could have a new member of the defensive tackle rotation this weekend at Minnesota.

Sophomore Stanley Jean-Baptiste, who had the important fourth-quarter interception against Ohio State, has earned a first-team spot during the last two weeks. “He’s growing,” Pelini said. “We feel good about where he is.”

NU assistant coach Barney Cotton confirmed those changes Friday during the Big Red Breakfast at the Embassy Suites at the La Vista Conference Center.

Cotton, however, said both Choi and Moore will play significant amounts as Nebraska sticks with an eight-man rotation on its offensive line.…
